Marketing Tips Around The Net: May 15th

I hope you are ready for the weekend. I will be signing copies of my book, The Samson Effect, with 12 other Texan authors at the Richardson Public Library tomorrow from 2-4 pm. Should be fun! For those who want to start reading The Samson Effect at no cost, I am releasing the whole novel as a serial one chapter at a time. Chapters 1 and Chapters 2 are out now. Chapter 3 comes out Monday morning.

Since it's Friday, that means that it's time for our trip around the net to look for other great marketing articles to help us sell our books. We start off with my debut article on BlogCritics Magazine. I hope you enjoy!

6. Be Consistent and Useful - Thoughts on How Often to Publish on Your Blog- Darren Rowse shares his ideas on what the frequency of your blog posts should be.

7. Creating a Marketing Roadmap- Penny Sansevieri offers a template you can use now for your marketing road map with an easy to use way to organize your book marketing efforts.

8. 8 Ways to Use Blogging as a Social Marketing Tool- On her blog tour, Dana Lynn Smith has created some really wonderful marketing articles. This is just one of the great tips you can read on her blog tour.

9. Internet marketing: What's the strategy for following back on Twitter?- Phyllis Zimbler Miller discusses her criteria for following people on Twitter and shares advice for other Twitter users to consider.

10. Score! When a Publisher Gives Up, It's Time for You to Get Going- Randy Platt shares his successes at keeping his book in print even when his publisher gave up.
