Marketing Tips Around The Net: May 8th

It's Friday and that means it's time to take our tour around the net to see what other marketing advice is out there for authors. I have picked out ten articles that should give you more ideas on promoting your book. Before we look at those, I wanted to remind you to take a look at the new serial release of The Samson Effect. Chapter 1 is out now and Chapter 2 is scheduled for release on Monday. And this is the last weekend to enter the contest to win a free signed copy of The Samson Effect.

5. Twitter: The microblogging platform that is deceptively simple- Wrapping up our Twitter articles for the week, gives you some sound advice when getting started on Twitter.

6. Stuff the Media Loves- Want to successfully pitch to the media? Penny C. Sansevieri can help with this five tip article.

7. Enhance and Grow Your Online Community Through Appreciation- Patrick O’Keefe shows us how a little appreciation can go a very long way.

8. Business bloggers: Are you making it easy for people to share your posts?- Phyllis Zimbler Miller is back with must-follow advice with anyone with a blog.

9. Negative Reviews: Are They Really Negative?- Ever suffer the painful sting of a bad review? Pat Bertram helps us keep it all in perspective and maybe even have fun with the 1 star reviews.

10. Book Marketing via Social Networking Sites- We end this week's tour with an article about how you can tie in social networking sites into your book marketing program.
