Thank you for mentioning my blog entry on multiple submissions. One of the reason there is so much confusion about them is that the rules differ slightly for freelance writers and for other writers pitching their books, etc. A general rule of thumb is to try to do right by the editor, agent or whatever without doing your writing career a disservice.
