Marketing Tips Around The Net: October 30th

It's Friday (actually Saturday), but that still means that it's time to take out tour around the net to look at some great marketing tips from experts all over. Yesterday, I did a clean install from Windows Vista to Windows 7 and it took a lot longer than I anticipated. But now that's it's over, I am glad I went through it. With that looming task done, I'm glad to forge ahead with the rest of my computer work (Kudos to Dell for making the process relatively painless-at least for me).

Before we look at the tips, here are a couple of housekeeping announcements:

1. The new video tips for my subscribers is out today. The 3 videos deal with time-management tools available to most users. These videos were prompted by a few requests for me to share my time-management tips with others.

This series of videos is actually three parts of a larger video broken into smaller videos of about 10 minutes each. Part 1 looks at Outlook and internet calendars. Part 2 looks at integrating e-mails into your task list and creating e-mails to go out at a later date. Part 3 discusses creating e-mail folders, automated rules to file new messages, and syncing everything with your mobile PDA devices.

The videos are free to all, but you do need to sign up for my free Video Tips Newsletter. Check it out. You can even view a sample tip before you sign up. And when you do sign up, you get access to over 45 minutes of free video tips instantly as my way of saying thanks.

2. Chapter 20 in my award winning novel, The Samson Effect, has been released on the serial release site. If you have not started this novel that NY Times best selling author Clive Cussler calls a "first rate thriller brimming with intrigue and adventure", then you can visit the Table of Contents to start from the beginning. While there, check out the announcement of the novel being acquired by a major Hollywood film producer.
