Review: The Wonderful World Of Twitter E-book by Phyllis Zimbler Miller

I just finished reading Miller Mosaic's newest release, The Wonderful World Of Twitter and How It Can Help Promote Your Brand, Book, Cause, or Business by Phyllis Zimbler Miller.

This 69 pager is packed from page 1 through 69 with everything you need to not only get started on Twitter, but to thrive on this social networking site. And if you are already on Twitter, then this e-book can make your experience on Twitter more efficient and effective.

Nestled within the easy to understand instructions throughout the book are nuggets of tips and tricks that will help you shave off years of learning how to make Twitter purr. And not only does this book provide easy to understand instructions, it also helps you understand why you do and don't do things on Twitter. Understanding this is half the battle when it comes to really using Twitter effectively.

The e-book really does cover the ABC's of using Twitter, so much so that someone who has never even heard of Twitter can be up and using it effectively to promote their brand and their business withing minutes. Among many things, you will learn how/why to participate in a "Tweet Chat", how to raise funds for non-profit causes, how to make sure your Twitter presence works with your website presence, and how to use Twitter for B2B and B2C purposes. This only scratched the surface of what you will find in this book.

This is a very practical, powerful and easy-to-use reference for anyone who needs to establish a Twitter presence. By far, this is one of the best Twitter guides I have come across so far on the subject.

If you are still not sure if you need Twitter for your business, let me leave you with this quote from the e-book about the three stages of Twitter:

First, before you are on Twitter, you say: "This is the dumbest thing I've heard of."

Second, when you are new to Twitter, you say: "I still don't get how it can help my brand, book, cause or business."

Third, if you hang in there and learn as much as possible, about using Twitter effectively, you hit the eureka moment: "This is the most powerful social media tool currently available on the Internet. I love Twitter!"

I can't speak for everyone, but the author nailed it when it came to my experience with Twitter.

Thanks for this - I'm just gearing up to roll out the Twitter portion of my marketing plans. I have to admit - I'm nervous! It seems so time consuming. It's nice to know that a eureka moment is in my future.

Sounds like a great resource for not only writers but everyone who hasn't really tapped into the power of twitter.

Let me just tell you... Your archive tip on linking a photo to another page where people can buy your book was so incredibly helpful and amazingly clear that you now have a real fan. SO smart to take away the fear that so many have of HTML. I followed it to the letter and posted a link on my blog today. Have a look. It's all because of you.
