No problem, Jane. I love your "There Are No Rules" blog. It is packed with great info each time it comes out. I don't know how you can keep up with that much info, but I'm glad you do. It makes life for the rest of us a lot easier.

I will definitely take a look at your posts. I am not sure how I missed a subscription to your site, but I have one now! They go directly to a special Outlook folder that I skim through each day.

Public speaking is a skill that can make such a difference in the success of writers who are trying to promote their books. I am looking forward to reading the posts.

Thanks, Carolyn! Don't ditch your subscriptions yet- there are always way more posts out there than the 10 I post to. I have been toying with the idea of changing my 10 to 15.

I try to look at Google alerts but subscriptions are the best way for me to keep up with what's going on. It's too easy to miss things without them.

I'd like to add an update, if I may, to your Number 5 by the amazing Carolyn Howard-Johnson (who is a contributor at my blog, Visual Arts Junction).

I was set to buy the iPad, but today enTourage Systems introduced the enTourage eDGe. Same price and size.

Though I previously wrote a post called "Apple iPad: The Machine of my Dreams," yesterday I placed my preorder for the eDGe.

It does everything the iPad does, and has functions the iPad never dreamed of. like 3 gigs of hard drive memory, handwriting technology, and oh...just too much to list.
